Pickled Onions

Cowboy Candy
2 Large Sweet Onions; peeled cut in half and sliced
2 Whole All-Spice
2 Whole Cloves
Cold packed in glass jar

1 Half Pint Cowboy Candy Syrup
1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 tsp Sea Salt

Bring syrup, vinegar and salt to a roiling boil. Pour over onions. Leave on counter for 12 hours then move to the refrigerator.  Allow to age a couple days.
